“I bought these slug collars to go round my young lettuce plants, due to me almost loosing most of my crop to slugs last year. The collars have been amazing and my lettuce plants are flourishing this year. “Slugs figured them out within 3 nights, and have no trouble getting over them. Also they not very "green", as made of plastic. I know you're trying to reduce chemicals, but plastic not good for the planet either. I now have 5 big lumps of useless plastic, so regret my purchase.”

“These work well and will stop slugs eating seedlings and larger plants. But don’t let leaves from other plants touch the rings or the slugs can climb in.”
