Disappointed in quality, lots of splits in wood, floor tray very warped wouldn’t slide in,roof leaks, nest box lid doesn’t fit probably no hinges or catches it just sits on,we are having to modifying it ,I think for the money it should have been better all round

Good coup, but some adjustments had to be made to the wood for fitting correctly

Great communication before delivery. Unit arrived with simple instructions. I hate flat pack however I found this easy to build, you definitely need a drill. The wood is great quality and I found no difficulties with any of the parts provided. For the money I doubt there is anything that matches it for quality

The coop is just brilliant. I was nervous before ordering as there were a number of reviews implying you needed ot be a carpenter to build it, but I contacted Garden St first and they assured me the construction was good and they'd help with any issues if I had them. I trusted them, and also noted that all the reviews still gave the coop great scores. When it arrived, on time and with good communications in advance, it was obvious this is a real quality product, properly made, solid and robust. It took two of us (my wife and I) a couple of hours to put it together but we had no problems at all, it all went together well and I didn't need to do anything other than follow the instructions (yes, I read and followed them!) and think it through. When built it is fabulous, sturdy and spacious, the girls love it and we're delighted. We've previously has cheaper coops but they just don't last, this is fabulous and easily worth every penny.

Build quality lets this coop down, fortunately my husband is a cabinet maker and had the tools necessary to make the adjustments required. However, now that it is assembled it looks good and sturdy.

This should be a market leader as once assembled it is a really great coop and value for money BUT production quality really is an issue. The floor of the coop was nearly 2cm too wide to fit - nothing to do with swelling in damp weather, simply how pieces are cut, The nesting box lid was also cut too large to fit onto the box and coop. A power tool was essential to assemble - not all the wood was same softness and struggled to put some screws in even with drill bit. it took 8 hours to assemble plus faff time to saw the large bits to fit. very enjoyable time though and next one would be much quicker if familiar with coop. Painted it green and it looks fantastic as well as very functional - get the production line sorted guys and this will be the best coop ever - also think about adding wheels and bar handles to make it easy to move and then will be in major demand.

Good little bike shed, built in an afternoon, pretty straightforward to build, probably easier with two people but did It with one. Nature of construction means that is likely to be some warpage before assembly but use of additional brackets straightened it all up with ease. Probably helps if you have built sheds or similar in the past in terms of doing it quickly and definitiely needs a cordless drill/driver to screw everything in. Remember to fit the doors straight in the frames as the nature of the build is that doors go on last and the shed is unlikely to be square at the beginning so if you are not careful you will fit the doors squint if not careful. Good size and appears to be fairly solid construction albeit not super heavy duty so not a security shed out the box for expensive bikes if there is a risk of theft. You could strengthen etc if desired but fine for most things or in a secure site. Overall great shed for the price, quick delivery and easy to build
