“Very impressed with the quality of this coop compared to many others which are flimsy in comparison. The fact that it was delivered on a pallet rather than in a box gives some indication of the quality of this coop. Very well made. Haven't actually put it together as yet as work needs doing in my run but got it so its here when I'm ready.”

“Pros: 1/. The coop is sturdy when assembled. 2/. It is large and will comfortably house more than the generous 6 hens it is made for. Cons: It took a LOT of adjustments in order to assemble: 1/. Slide out tray needed to be extensively planed in order for it to fit. It was also warped on arrival. 2/. Rear door didn't fit, I was convinced the wrong one had been sent it was so far out. It needed to be planed/adjusted. 3/. Slide out litter tray is difficult to fully insert - it's necessary to have another person at the front of the coop to help put it in the correct position. 4/. Needed to add a small baton (not provided) to front of the coop to ensure the pop-hole door didn't come off the runners when the ramp was removed. 5/. The nest box roof didn't fit - it was out by a mile and needed sawing & planning. It also just 'sits' on the top !! No lock which makes it easy for predators to assess the coop. Access to the interior of the coop is restricted to the pop-hole and a similar sized opening at the rear. . There's no easy removal of a roof or side panel in order to clean it out. More importantly there are NO VENTILATION holes/vents. If I hadn't decided to stain it prior to assembling it, I would have returned it. As it is I shall have to employ a carpenter to do the necessary alteration/ improvements. I assumed that buying in this price bracket I would get a quality product. .”
