“I put these nematodes down twice a year as I have a lot of rhododendrons. It helps to keep the weevils down to some extent.”

“Although no sight of vine weevil grubs, a couple of adults have been spotted. Taking no chances and applied the nematodes to the many new plants we have added this year. Last year not one nasty grub was seen after application; so hoping for the same result this year.”

“After two applications last year no "little beasties " seen so far this year. Prevention being better than cure another batch of Nematodes have just been dispatched into the containers where it is hoped they will be as successful as last year.”

“The package came on the 6th of May. 100 sq metres. But the weather was wet that day and the next and the next. So, I kept the package in the fridge. It had a long use by date – the 24th of May. So, three days later I applied the solution. Very easy, if you have a ten-litre bucket and lots of rainwater, from the water butt. I did not use tap water. Easy to apply, but you need to note where you had been, as it takes around an hour in the evening rain. Happy with the success in the flower and vegetable beds, but the tubs and pots were subject to three days of heavy rain. I wonder if the nematodes have been washed out.”
