“This device seeems extremely well made to me - qulaity materials and well engineerede. On that basis it is very good value . Just a little tricky to install - the instructions are in tiny pictogramms when a sheet of paper would have been more readable. Each greeenhouse is different. In my case the staks for teh opening light had broken and they were bolted to the frame but the simple (but fiddly) clamping system worked well in my case- no drilling required thank goodness!. Initially even though the temerature in the greehhouse was in the upper 20's the vent wasn't opening. I checked back with GN and realised that it was in working order but that it was meauring the temperature near the glass because the sensor lies flat aginst that when closed. Once the amnbient tempeature rose then it was working ok. That might not be problem with other greenhouse designs. Customer service was excellent - quick to pick up and very helpful .”

“Easy to fit. Good for a small low greenhouse as the strut sits close to the glass when closed! Unlike the heavier ones which sit out horizontally when closed forever banging my head on those Bayliss brands”

“The autovent was as described and was surprisngly sturdy. It is performing perfectly well. Instructions were clear. The only problem that I had was getting the threaded cylinder to line up accurately with the cylinder housing but perseverance solved the problem.”
