“Time to replace my old pod harness. I was keen on the Impress 4 but still wanted to keep my options open for other harnesses as well. The Flybubble match service suited my needs well particularly as I was right on the border between two sizes! We decided on the smaller size Impress 4 initially and this soon arrived for me to try out at my leisure. After much hanging in it and adjusting, I felt the harness itself was fine but could do with the larger size speedbag (fortunately on the Impress this easily zips off). No problem, as Flybubble had the larger speedbag in stock and this soon arrived and the combination fitted me perfectly. Very pleased with the harness and the service I received.”

“Wanting to trade up from my school wing after 2 years and 50 hours I read all the reviews and shortlisted the gliders that I thought could be the right move for me. I decided to consult Carlo and Nancy using their match service. They have a very good knowledge of the wings I had shortlisted and suggested some others as well. They were very patient with all my questions and recommended a Phi Beat which I flew for the first time this week. Their expertise is truly suitable for all levels of experience, from total beginner to seasoned pilot. Carlo and I talked in detail over a selection of potential wing choices, speaking not only about the obvious differences but also subtle nuances that are difficult to explain. “If you are considering the match service read on. The match service is not an opportunity just to fly a couple of wings you might be thinking of buying but it is a commitment on both parties, yourself and fly bubble hence the deposit. It relies on you taking your time and being honest about what you are looking for in your new wing. I am currently going through this process and getting close to the final decision on wing choice. I have spent a lot of time communicating with Carlo via email and phone getting down to the final choice of wing. Fly Bubble have put a lot of time in on this with me and it is paying dividends to me. If you want to buy the cheapest wing you can find on the internet and you think you have the right wing by chatting to your mates on the hill then this is not the route for you, however, if you want to find out what is the right wing for you and for what you want to do then I can definitely recommend the match service. The deposit for the match service is fair, it is your commitment to the time and advice that you will be getting from Fly Bubble and their commitment to you as a customer, buying a wing is not cheap and more importantly, you don't want to be in the air on something you are not comfortable on, it will ruin your flying experience. If like me you fall between the gaps on wing choice then I highly recommend the match service. The giveaway is in the name... MATCH. I have purchased multiple items in the past from Fly Bubble and they have always been excellent on service and price.”

“I was slightly reluctant to buy a new wing but I am very pleased I signed up for the matching service and my new wing is better than I could have ever imagined. I was looking to move from an old but much loved EN C to something with more passive safety as I wasnt flying as many hours as I used to. Clearly I didnt want to lose any performance and I wanted something that allowed me to turn hard on busy local sites whilst making the most of the lift available. To add to the challenge I am a heavy pilot with my last wing being an XXL special build. After a few emails we had a 90-minute conversation so Carlo could understand what I wanted from a glider. Going over the most important things about how and where I fly drew out some important points and helped me understand my requirements as much as it helped Carlo. We drew up a long list of gliders that on paper fit well. Using Carlos's experience flying and understanding the wings on the list we disqualified a number that wouldn't quite suit. We then made a short list and Carlo took some time to speak to manufacturers with specific questions relating to my wants, such as how the XLs would fly at the top of weight ranges in regards to different elements of the performance. Through this process, we uncovered a potential factory special option that might suit. I wouldn't have had access to such a glider without the relationships and knowledge Flybubble have. We eventually worked down to a glider we thought would suit and I was sent a demo wing. I got to hang onto it for quite a long time as weather and work got in the way of flying. However, I eventually got out twice with the glider and flew for around 3 hours. Initially, it didn't feel totally natural to fly. However, looking at the requirements we had set it was clear this glider hit all my asks. I therefore bought the glider and was really please with the decision. I had got exactly what I asked for. Now after a few more hours, I am absolutely loving the glider. It's so much better than my old wing which was why it felt odd initially. It doesnt need as much work to fly which initially felt odd but now I have recalibrated and can really take advantage. All the advice on the wing was spot on and I now understand it more I can fully appreciate that in a way that perhaps I didn't to begin with. I've ended up with a great wing but also more knowledge about what a great wing is! I'd recommend the process to anyone. Real expertise delivered in a slick and professional manner and the results are above my expectations. Chapeau!”
