“I was slightly reluctant to buy a new wing but I am very pleased I signed up for the matching service and my new wing is better than I could have ever imagined. I was looking to move from an old but much loved EN C to something with more passive safety as I wasnt flying as many hours as I used to. Clearly I didnt want to lose any performance and I wanted something that allowed me to turn hard on busy local sites whilst making the most of the lift available. To add to the challenge I am a heavy pilot with my last wing being an XXL special build. After a few emails we had a 90-minute conversation so Carlo could understand what I wanted from a glider. Going over the most important things about how and where I fly drew out some important points and helped me understand my requirements as much as it helped Carlo. We drew up a long list of gliders that on paper fit well. Using Carlos's experience flying and understanding the wings on the list we disqualified a number that wouldn't quite suit. We then made a short list and Carlo took some time to speak to manufacturers with specific questions relating to my wants, such as how the XLs would fly at the top of weight ranges in regards to different elements of the performance. Through this process, we uncovered a potential factory special option that might suit. I wouldn't have had access to such a glider without the relationships and knowledge Flybubble have. We eventually worked down to a glider we thought would suit and I was sent a demo wing. I got to hang onto it for quite a long time as weather and work got in the way of flying. However, I eventually got out twice with the glider and flew for around 3 hours. Initially, it didn't feel totally natural to fly. However, looking at the requirements we had set it was clear this glider hit all my asks. I therefore bought the glider and was really please with the decision. I had got exactly what I asked for. Now after a few more hours, I am absolutely loving the glider. It's so much better than my old wing which was why it felt odd initially. It doesnt need as much work to fly which initially felt odd but now I have recalibrated and can really take advantage. All the advice on the wing was spot on and I now understand it more I can fully appreciate that in a way that perhaps I didn't to begin with. I've ended up with a great wing but also more knowledge about what a great wing is! I'd recommend the process to anyone. Real expertise delivered in a slick and professional manner and the results are above my expectations. Chapeau!”

“I had the most fantastic service from Nancy and I was pleased to pay for the refundable deposit as it made me feel I could keep going back with more questions. Telephone calls, emails, questionnaires all enabled me to give every aspect of my experience, attitude, physique, fears, concerns and how I wanted to progress my flying. Nancy distilled this into 3 recommendations and I have been completely pleased with my choice and also with the speed of delivery (and price). This service gave me the confidence to make a significant purchase, to feel safe and to eventually buy a very different wing from any I had considered, yet it is so "right" for me.
