Me and my boyfriend bought two frequent fear passed from Floridatix for our recent trip to Florida and I'm so glad we did! Floridatix service is super fast and the prices are so good. Now for the event, Halloween Horror Night was amazing! So scary, so entertaining, well planned. We're returning during October 2015 to experience it all again :) one thing I will say though is buy the fast pass for the HHN at least once! It's so worth it, the queues were all between 80-120 minutes for the houses. We paid ~$80 per person at Universal for a 1 night express pass, we waited no longer than 15 minutes for anything and we did everything in one night, all the houses, streets, shows, we even ate and browsed a bit. If you plan on going multiple times and doing a bit each night and don't mind standing in line forever, then you'll be ok. Otherwise express pass it all the way! Worth every single penny :)

Firstly this is in no way a reflection on Floridatix service which was excellent. The Halloween horror night, well it was a bit of a let down. We had seen the preparation in the park prior to the night. We had spent the day at universal and the park closed at 5:30 to allow final adjustments. The queues were already building and it clearly is a popular event. On our return, we had to queue to go through security, a sensible precaution, however I had two bottles of water confiscated which i wasn't happy about, I wasn't even allowed to take an empty bottle in to refill! Once inside we made our way to the 'dolls house'. A short wait and we were inside, it was pretty creepy, but there were just too many people going through to make it really scary. Next we queued for the Halloween horror house. We had been told this was the best one, however we had to wait over an hour in the rain and we were through in less than 2 minutes. Again it was quite scary, with performers jumping out to provide shocks, but the effect is lost somewhat when you can hear the person ahead of you screaming, you know a surprise is coming. At this point we decided not to bother with the rest of the haunted houses (there were 9 in all), the lines were well over an hour and the wet weather didn't help. There are alot of live performers both inside the houses and in the park areas, the houses are well done so you can see why it costs so much, but it's just too crowded. A number of the rides were still open so we took advantage of the shorter lines and also watched the two live shows, Bill and Ted, which was a bit crass and aimed at the college student market. You either got it or you didn't and quite a few people left during the show. The other was based on the Rocky Horror picture show, although i'm not a fan and never seen the film, it was by far the best attraction of the evening. In conclusion I would say unless you a real fan of the horror genre then it's not worth the money. It's just too crowded to be fun.

I bought tickets for my husband and daughter because having been to Florida 9 times thus was something that we had never done. What a brilliant night, absolutely brilliant costumes and the horror houses, especially Halloween were terrifying. If I was to go again however, I would consider buying the fast passes because the queues were long.

Bought tickets from Floridatix for 4th time and as usual great service. The event itself was as usual superb. I felt the houses were the best yet with Halloween and The Walking Dead the best. The scare zones were a bit disappointing this year though. A wee tip. If you can go during the week its much quieter and in fact on the Wednesday ee managed to visit the 8 houses with very little queueing. Friday however was mobbed and took the enjoyment away somewhat. Some of the queues had waiting times of 2 hours. Overall a brilliant experience especially combined with a day pass at Universal.

After seeing videos and photos for the Halloween horror night I was adamant I would be spending every night I could exploring the horrow houses and all the other treats that universal had to offer! The houses that you could walk through were worth the lengthy queues, full of surprises and scares that got the heart racing! We bought a ticket that meant to we had access every night it was on and we definitely done that! The scares never get old and you will not be bored! Well worth the visit, brilliant experience for those that love the scary movies.
