“4 x 20 litre drums delivered on time. Easy to use and I note now water rapidly runs off my roof tiles. I can't say how long this sealer will last as I've only just coated my roof. Its a great shame that I cannot return these empty drums to be reused. More plastic to be disposed of !!!! Steve”

“Cracking product – does exactly what it says on the tin. Since applying it, the tiles have stopped crumbling and water just beads off nicely. The roof dries noticeably quicker after rain compared to the neighbour’s – you can really see the difference. If you’re planning to apply multiple coats, I’d recommend doing the third coat wet-on-wet – otherwise, it just runs off as it gets repelled by the previous layer. I used 40 litres to treat the roof of a semi-detached house. Highly recommended.”

“went on ok with garden sprayer, went on quite heavy to absorb in, wasnt that water repelent so not sure how effective this will be long term”

The roof tile will dictate how much sealer you require, you should follow the process twice on very absorbent tiles. Allow the tiles time to dry, and importantly the product will need to fully cure (over 24 hours). Once this process is complete you should then test (by a water drop test) to ensure the surface is sealed. If this process is followed you will find your tiles will encourage water droplets to bead. You may not have added enough product (in x2 applications) to ensure the tiles were sealed or carried out a water drop test too soon. You can still add more sealer if required.
