“I've had several loads of wood and all the logs have been of excellent quality.
They burn well in my small wood burner and give out good heat in a short period of time.
When I look up at the chimney I see virtually no smoke which is good as I live in London.
I would recommend those with wood burners to buy these logs as they are totally dry and because of this, I believe they are more environmentally friendly to burn than using gas.”
“This is not the first time I have purchased kiln dried logs from you and that in itself speaks volumes.
Good dry quality logs. Easy ordering and delivery. Would recommend.”

“This is the second delivery I’ve had and the review is based across those two.
The quality was very different across the two. The second were on average much smaller sizes and fired to a greater extent , the wood was a dark brown compared to yellow of the first.
This means the wood burns much hotter and is harder to control.
Over all I preferred the first order for size and quality. I would have hoped for more consistency, but they do burn well!”
Hi Alex, thanks for the review. Please be assured that the logs all go through the same machinery and kiln drying process. The reason that there is occasionally variation is because we supply mixed hardwood and it depends on the hardwood species that is sourced before splitting and kiln drying. Some hardwoods are denser than others meaning it splits differently in the machinery. As a company we do not target specific hardwood species because it is not good for sustainability. I hope that helps, we are more than happy to discuss in more detail if needed.
