Our Salt Beef Silverside joint is from 28-day dry aged West Country beef, cured by our Somerset Butcher. This means that each and every cut is packed with flavour and beautifully tender. A lovely alternative to the more traditional Christmas turkey. To prepare your Salted Beef Silverside, rinse under cold water, bring to the boil then simmer in plenty of water with your favourite blend of herbs & vegetables (we like keeping things simple with an onion and a couple of bay leaves). Simmer for 2 ½ - 3 hours until tender. Serves 4 people.
