Onglet Steaks, Pack of 2 (454g) Reviews

4.9 Rating 10 Reviews
Read Field & Flower Reviews

Our Onglet steaks are known for their unique texture and rich, 'full' flavour. It's a fantastic economical cut, cut from the lower belly or diaphragm and also known as a hanger steak or hanging tenderloin. At Field & Flower, we strive to bring you the best of British beef. To us, this means sourcing heritage and native breeds, reared in traditional, extensive farming systems from a network of the best independent farmers in England. All of this takes time, and our beef is allowed to grow slower for longer, spending at least two seasons at grass and fed on a natural diet.

One of our favourite (and inexpensive) cuts of beef. Top tip: beat them out nice and thin and then fry quickly.

Super tender! Excellent cut for barbecue and also pan-fried with a lovely pink centre!

A cheaper cut of steak but it cooks on the Barbecue lovely. No chewy steak at our BBQ’s.

I loved the service the product was very good and I was kept informed. It was a very nice touch to leave a note on the box that this must be delivered today a very thoughtful addition. The packaging was great and everything arrived cold and like it was fresh out of the fridge. I did enjoy the meat very much it. You pay for what you get here for sure.

Unbelievably tender steaks which can be quite hard to get hold of elsewhere

It’s nice to see this great-value cut, which you see a lot in France bistros, for sale in the UK. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the portion is too big! It’s way too much for 2, but not quite enough for 4. I’d love to see 300g packs.
