“Your staff were absolutely brilliant. We both love the ring. We were served by a wonderful lady called Rachel H. who was very knowledgable and helpful. We had gone into Hinds after visiting Warren James Jewellers, just round the corner. My partner has put a complaint in to them about their shoddy service as against the help from Hinds. We give you a copy of the e mail she sent to them to highlight the brilliant service we had from your staff. My partner says she cannot wait to wear her beautiful new ring, it is tucked away in my drawer until the 6th November, when we get married. However she keeps popping upstairs to take a peek at it. Copy attached of complaint to Warrent James - I went into your Wellingborough shop in the Swansgate Centre with my partner earlier today. We are getting married in November and my partner wanted to buy me an engagement ring. I am 66 years of age and I've never had an engagement ring before despite being married, so I felt happy and excited. A young man came to serve us and he immediately referred us to another lady in the shop. She told us that we would only be able to look at one ring at a time, which we understood as obviously to have too much stuff out is a security risk. She then asked me what size ring I wanted I replied I thought it was an M. We went to the window and showed 3 rings that I quite liked. She went with the young lad to the window and came back and shrugged her shoulders and said we haven't got any of those in your size. She never offered for me to try a different ring on or say that they might be able to get one in stock. In fact her whole attitude made us feel very unwelcome. This put quite a damper on our morning until we went just round the corner to Hinds Jewellers. They could not have been more different they looked at the rings I had on, measured one of those and told me what they thought would compliment the jewellery I already had. They bought a range of rings out of the window and really made me feel welcome trying them on, they obviously didn't put them all on the counter at the same time. I ended up choosing a ring which didn't cost me a fortune £499 but which I loved and will cherish. It was such a special thing for me. All of the staff wished us well and we left feeling very valued customers. I do not usually complain at bad service, in fact quite the opposite, I try to think of the reasoning behind it but I do think I should share my experience with your Customer Service team. I did go back into your shop to tell the lady in person that I had got a ring from round the corner and that they had really great customer service to which she responded I did tell you I was sorry that we didn't have those rings in your size. She did not seem to grasp the fact that she could of offered an alternative etc. I look forward to hearing your comments on the above.”

“My Mrs loves it. Its the second ring I've bought from your shop and they have both been fantastic. Also they both fitted like a glove straight from the shop.No need for any adjustment. I say to my Mrs it must be a sign if they fit perfectly off the shelf. Ha ha.”
