“The underlay makes it very easy to lay the vinyl tiles on top, restraining the movement due to friction. Wish it came in a thicker variety to soak up more floor level fluctuations.”

“Even though I probably could have got away without an underlay as I played ply to the floors, the underlay gives a softer feel to the floor overall and helps with noise reduction.”
