Saw and blades worked perfectly, save us a ton of time cutting through the steel hull on a boat. Shipping rates are astronomical though, more than the cost of the tool and spare blades. Better to go through a distributor,

Saw is big and heavy but really like it. Cuts like butter and has a great cut. Bit hard to see for shorter cuts maybe a plexiglass window but honestly it’s still a awesome saw

WOW!! I never thought I'd be using a circular saw to cut my steel and aluminum plate with such accuracy. The specialty blades by Evolution really rip thru my material without dulling. I can now just rip the desired width and get back to work. No more ordering rec bar. An amazing saw for sure.

First glance it was funny looking because I’m used to regular saws, but when I started to cut 1/4 sheet steel I was blown away at how clean it cuts. The cuts were super clean and not hot like the plasma cutter would’ve been. I’m looking forward to using this saw on a semi truck frame I’m shortening this weekend where my cuts are going to be precise.

This saw is legit! A few years ago I acquired a 4' x 4' x 5/8" steel plate that I wanted to use for a welding table surface, but the corner (a 10" x 12" piece) had been cut off with a plasma cutter, making it an odd shape. I thought I needed a plasma cutter to cut the remaining 10" x 38" piece off, but then I discovered the Evolution circular saw. Reviews suggested it could easily cut 1/2" plate and so I bought the saw thinking my plate was 1/2" thick. I was mistaken, my plate was actually 5/8", but since I had the saw I decided to try it on the 5/8" plate. The saw cut through it with no problem! It was my first cut with this saw, so a brand new blade, but I was thrilled and frankly surprised at how well it cut the steel. I'm so happy with this saw for straight cuts on plate steel that I don't think I'd purchase a plasma cutter unless I was getting it for a CNC machine.
