“Well made and put together, a bit more thought and eginnering on the protractor would be a great upgrade to the unit a great saw table with a farley useless part, at not a lot of cost to you and not more than ten pounds to me,”

“Set a little time aside before you intend to use the saw for actual work. First thing you'll need to do is put the base together. The instructions could perhaps use a bit of reworking to make them a little clearer, but if you're going to use the saw for work and you've used these kind of plans before, you're going to be fine. Once constructed, check levelling and adjust if necessary. I made tiny adjustments to the throat plate. There are little screws under it that can be adjusted. Next, make sure the riving knife aligns properly. There are two hex bolts that hold it in place, and I needed to make minor adjustments to it so that the blade didn't catch and so that the riving knife aligned precisely with the blade. Easy, but took my time to get it as close to perfect as I could. Next, I changed the blade for a 100t. My test cuts were ever so slightly off for two reasons. 1. the blade I'd fitted wasn't at 90, so made the adjustment on the bevel wheel until it was square to the table. 2. The fence was just a fraction out so aligned it to the blade using the fence screws. Things I learnt: 1. Was getting drift on my test cuts and realised it was because I'd not locked the fence. User error. 2. Was getting slight burning because I'd not completed the cut. User error. 3. Couldn't figure out why, when I collapsed it to put it away, it wouldn't stay up. I hadn't fitted the locking catch bolt. User error. Once it was all setup the way I wanted it and attached to my dust collector, it worked as expected. Made a couple of bevel cut bird houses out of some scrap just to make sure before I cut anything expensive, and very happy with the results. The folding base is pretty awesome. I'm very tight on space in my little workshop, and it just fits nice and snug into a gap I had.”

“Quick delivery and the currier was very helpful in carrying the item to the location I was moving it too. Box was undamaged but some of the screws and small parts were loose in box, eventually found them all. Took my time setting the stand and saw up, but eventually got it sorted. Apart from the fence nothing needed altering right from the word go, excellent! The fence only needed a slight alteration. It's a fantastic bit of kit. At this price range I would be surprised to find better, or as good for that matter. Definitely recommend (may be better instructions for the stand )”
