“I am an amateur wood turner, carpenter and odd jobber. I needed a compact, affordable, reliable, accurate table saw. Having trawled the reviews for ages I decided on the R255TBL+ and WOW! What a great decision! It cuts through stuff like it was butter. Its accurate. Its fully adjustable, its easy to use, it gets rid of all the chippings if you hook it up to a decent vac. As other reviewers have said its got masses of features which make life easy. Furthermore advice is easy to get from HQ. They really do answer the phone! Only a couple ou thumbs down so far......... the set up instructions. Truly dire! Please Evolution, make a decent step by step Youtube video of how to put it together. The other issue is the blade guard design. Unless I am doing something wrong I have to undo the two bolts to repove it from the riving knife to fit the latter to the saw to use it. Finally the levelling screws for the plate. Very loose and need a locking nut to prevent them from loosening. I ended up using PTFE tape to tighten the thread That said, once its up and running its a delight to use and all for a lot less than other jobsite table saws out there! A GREAT PIECE OF KIT!”
