“This plate is so superior to the original unit it's a crying shame it wasn't supplied as standard. Once installed the fit is excellent nd worthy of 5 sars but the install process is seriously flawed as the saw blade does not retract low enough for the new insert to be locked down before raising the blade to make the initial cut through. Having seen other reviews of this issue I was reluctant to chance things so went to the expense of buying a smaller blade, which made the cut cleanly and safely.”

“An excellent alternative to the plastic one supplied with the tool. Much sturdier therefore support the piece to be cut better. It helps prevent slivers of wood getting past the blade. An all round better upgrade. Great price too.”
