“Next business day delivery ended up a week which was frustrating and yes it takes a while to put together but was very well packed and everything was there in good condition. When setting it up I found the rail opposite the scaled rail had a slight bend at the end which prevented the sliding of the carriage to bind. However after some thaught and examination I found that by taking the rail off and reversing it solved the problem as the bent end was then stationary. After watching evolution videos of the saw and the designer praising the factory team of checking everything this was a bit disappointing. Haven't had much time to use the saw but initial trials look promising”

“The saw itself probably would have been ok had it not been skewered by a forklift in the warehouse. The slot in the side of the box didn't look too serious and belied the extent of damage internally. Having unwrapped the saw bench, I was unimpressed with the extensive use of plastics which necessarily limit the performance and accuracy of the table. There is a reason why professional tools have large and heavy castings. As a DIY tool for light occasional use, it's maybe ok but certainly not worth the full RRP. Having said that, it seems that nobody actually sells at what Evolution say is the RRP. The Black Friday £100 off deal, simply returns it to the normal selling price. Bit of a non-deal really.”

“This is a great saw. Everything can be adjusted easily, blade pitch, blade square, fence square as they were not spot on when delivered but are now. The machine is a pain to put together ideally with 2 people but once assembled is sturdy yet portable. The only complaint I would have is with UPS the carrier who were useless if not worse than that.”
