“Slight disappointment with out of alignment bolt holes in wheel frame and poor washers (had to use my own as bolts would not fit through (50% of the ones provided) and you certainly need a soft faced mallet. Manual not very clear written or pictures. Although reasonable value in general, what is a serious flaw is what I think a safety issue is the extremely cheap flimsy flexible orange plastic blade access plate (Inexcusable) and affects accuracy of smaller cuts given the general design of a very versatile machine. Come on Evolution Tools, supply a replacement safer one to all purchasers of these machines past and present. Small changes will make a very good machine for the price. Ps the supplied Allen key fitted nothing and a few smaller parts from split plastic bags eventually found caught up in the machine itself.”

“Been waiting for the RAGE5-S for a while, slightly disappointed, in that one of the extension tables had a rather large chip on the paintwork, and it had started to go rusty, not a major problem I know, but it's not what I like to see when I spend nearly £400 on a good bit of kit, and the RAGE5-S is certainly that. I rubbed the area down with some OOOO wire wool and touched it up with some black paint, looks a lot better.”

“Machine seems really good and well made for price. Set up was easy and can be set to a good degree of accuracy. Packaging for delivery let it down a little as box was damaged and some parts had fallen out in transit so had to find replacements.”

“Arrived ahead of schedule, which is a bonus.. ready to rock straight out of the box, save for a few setting up tweaks, usual stuff nothing too onerous. Instructions were bolstered by the useful YouTube videos. Cuts clean and true every time!! I’ve had a few evo products before and will always come back for more. Don’t think about buying one, just bite the bullet and spend the cash!”

“Took a bit of figuring out how to assemble the saw, but got there on the end. The fence is very good as it clamps at both ends, unlike a lot of the competitors. Cuts perfectly, my only slight criticism is that in a bigger cut, I had to remove the top guard, but done in seconds thanks to the captured thumb screw. The extending table sides are also great as well as the folding stand and wheels. Very useful if you are limited for space. I also cut a sheet of 4mm duralumin, no problem. A great purchase and good value for money.”
