“I bought the table saw based on my positive experience with their concrete saw. Good table saw for the price but not outstanding. I bought this to replace a 60 year old table saw that was handed down from my dad. Pretty sure this one won’t last that long. The saw works fine, smooth cuts, powerful motor, glides through 1 1/2” pine and Douglas fir easily. Does what table saws should do, cuts wood and makes saw dust. The good stuff. The table size is fairly generous with extensions on each side of the blade to help stabilize your material. The sliding section for making smaller repeat cuts works smoothly. The additional attachments to stabilize pieces on the slide are very nice. There is also a side guide that attaches to the fence. I need to read more on application so I haven’t used it yet. The material fence lock was a little tight but adjusting was easy and the locking mechanism handle doesn’t impede material travel anymore. The one quirky thing about it is the blade guide seems to pull material away from the fence so I need to check with a framing square to understand what’s going on with it. The not so good stuff. I’m not crazy about the exit tube diameter on the saw dust-chip collection unit. It doesn’t match standard U.S. hoses, so you duct tape together or let it blow all over the shop. Disappointing. Also, the dust collection intake surrounding the blade inside the saw is plastic and comes close to rubbing on the saw blade mounting bolt. Unimpressive arrangement. Please note! Plastic isn’t always the best material! Finally, I’m sure the 1” - 25 mm arbor makes for better saw blade mounting and stability but based on my initial search it limits where you can buy replacement blades. In summary, at this price point it’s a decent saw. It like everything saw out there has its quirks. It comes down to, can you live with the quirks or is it a deal breaker? Maybe one day Evolution will make an adapter for U.S. hose diameters to match the dust collection out feed. Yea, I’d start there, then improve the blade surround.”
