“Used straight out of the box with no problem whatsoever. There was an online video viewed which helped identify a potential issue and I say potential issue with using the higher height guide which you could apparently cut through easily if not thinking things through. Didn’t experience that and haven’t tested to see if it could be possible. I have also seen comment in regard the dust collection bag - I agree that it doesn’t collect that well. I am working on an extraction system that can be as mobile as the stand and saw when combined. Good kit and works well with the available stand.”

“I never realy liked evolution tools they look cheap and they are made in china ,but this saw changed my mind it can compete with market leaders and if this is a glance into fuutre development and design you can count me in for future purchases.”

“The Mitre Saw is very good, and accurate, just dust collector is not the best, as in the most of mitre saws, even with connected proper dust collector with flow rate 2526m3/hour. Evolution customer service on a high level. Highly recommended.”

“Purchased this after reading reviews. Packed well and pretty easy to assemble, About 5 minutes to be up and running. Positives : Powerful, not as noisy as previous mitre saw good clean straight cuts and nice safety features in the dual clamps, these were REALLY NECESSARY. Negatives: The fence upper half was bent and twisted and distinctly dangerous causing massive kickback due to blade pinching caused by said bent fence. Gave me a couple of frights especially when cutting 4x2. The dust collection was also not very effective but probably only as bad as my other woodworking tools. Overall: That said, with the offending fence removed the saw works like a dream good straight cuts and no kickback. I've only used the wood blade so far but if the multi purpose blade is as good as on the table saw I also purchased then I foresee no problems. I should have returned the saw due to the bent ( and non adjustable) fence upper half but really needed the saw for work and can manage without a high fence at least for the time being. A good powerful saw, served me well in the last couple of months but really needs work on the quality of the fence. otherwise I would have no hesitation in recommending this saw.”
