“Purchased this saw hoping it would give DIY life; I was wrong. I write with regards to my purchased, direct from evolution, reference Rage 3DB F1623UK00174 Mitre Saw that has developed a fault that I am unable to overcome within my manual. The whole of the saw has locked in the 40 degree tilt position so that I am unable to use the saw, for even cutting firewood. I cannot trace this model in your listings other than it is not possible to repair this model if it is out of guarantee, this seems rather extortionate for a product that lauds to be suitable for either DIY or semi trade purposes; the fact that it seems to have been discontinued points that this machine is/was not fit for purpose”

Your machine was manufactured in 2016 and this model was discontinued around 2018 , We therefore have no spare parts available to repair this , You could try a local repair centre they may be able to assist .

“Very impressed with the quality and accuracy of my new mitre saw. I now have a large range of evolution tools. Only recommendation i would say, the dust extraction isn't great, even with the evolution hoover attached. I made my own flexible rubber boot to attach to the saw to add collection. It worked perfectly. Could be better with something like this from factory.”

“Had to make a larger dust box for it to sit in as being double mitre it has a larger range of movement than my previous Evolution single bevel mitre saw. The movement of the blade through cutting angles is really smooth and the locking very positive. Love it”
