“This is a great saw and works well on the accompanying stand. It's quite a weight and reasonably study but let down by a poor design for the depth stop. There is no measuring facility on the depth stop so you just have to turn the screw by trial and error. The depth stop is activated by a small tab that is attached by a single screw with a shakeproof washer that doesn't work. Using the tab naturally untightens the holding screw making it lose. The tab also rises and falls vertically rather than swinging into place horizontally which means it is prone to dropping down when you don't want it!”

“I bought this saw to cut the mitre joints 8mm thick Plastic skirting and Achitrave. Straight out of the box it was easy to assembly (although I still have two screws I have no idea what they are for). I cut some 500 x 25mm wood as a test with no setting up and check the 90 and 45 degree angles and found them to be spot on. Connected to a dust extractor most of the dust is removed some still goes to the back of the saw. I would recommend this saw for a well made double bevel sliding Mitre saw of this size at £200 is a very good price. I have only just bought this saw so cannot comment on the reliability.”
