“Fantastic piece of kit. The multipurpose blade was excellent for doing my staircase with Sapele wood. Didn’t need to buy a separate multi toothed blade. Cut the hard wood perfect with no chips or splinters.”

“Having used several mitre saws over the years this has produced clean, square cuts right out of the box. Due to back issues my 12 year old daughter put this together for me without a hitch by following the build video on the Evolution website. Once built we checked it with a set of engineers squares. The bed was flat, the fences were square and the blade was 89.98 degrees across the whole length of travel. The laser is set to the middle of the kerf so I’ve adjusted it slightly to one side (if you go to the instructions page on the evo website you can download a template for alignment that makes the process easier, why this isn’t included in the box I don’t know). I’ve had a play with the standard blade and it’s taken everything that’s been thrown at it in its stride. I’ve now replaced it with a 60T saxton professional blade and the cut is clean and square. The DB feature is a nice to have but haven’t used it in anger yet. The bed is covered in stickers when it comes out of the box, not sure why as it’s the same information that’s on the box. 5 minutes with a hairdryer to heat up the glue got them off. Overall it’s a solid, square bit of kit that for the money is equal to if not better than those from the yellow and blue brands.”

“Only had this saw a few weeks ,But very pleased makes woodwork so much easier, And very accurate . Only wish i had bought one long ago.Only small down side it does create a lot of wood dust. So in dry weather i have been using the saw outside Would certainly recommend..”
