“I bought the R255SMS-DB as a replacement for my 25 year old Pro B&Q saw, that had given me years of satisfaction so this new item had a lot to live up to, Well once I'd managed to assemble the saw I was apprehensive to say the least. Well there was no need for doubt as the new toy was a revelation when used for the first time. The blade was like chalk and cheese compared to my now defunct previous saw. the ease of the cutting action was so smooth it was like cutting through butter with a finish second to none.. The noise level, so high on my old machine was dwarfed by it's lack of decibels. The laser guide was not a gimmick but a very helpful little extra when poisoning materials for cutting. The high positioning of the sliding rods were a vast improvement giving a massively superior clearance to the underside, making clearing up after use, a breeze.”

“Great product once set up, I have the smaller version as well but needed the bigger one for larger wood. The one disappointment was not having a dust bag as it was purchased from screwfix and not direct from evolution but as it was £200 I expected one.”

“Top quality machine. I’ve had a Rage 3 for 6 years and it is still going strong having installed numerous decks. I wanted a bigger machine to cut sleepers. It does this with ease and can even do 22.5 degree cuts by cutting carefully from both sides. Love the double bevel and looking forward to trying out my masonry blade on some block pavers in a couple of weeks.”
