“Excellent piece of kit. After reading reviews on other Canoe Trolleys, I settled on the C-Tug. I chose the Sandtrakz as I do intend to use them on the sand at some point. So far I have only used it on grass, tarmac and pavement - all of which it coped with admirably. Once assembled, it is quick to get a canoe / kayak on it, and it makes moving the kayak (even when loaded up with your kit etc.) an easy one person operation. The only downside is the price - it's not cheap - but in this case it seems you get what you pay for. A no-fuss device that makes portaging easy.”

“Took the plunge and decided to opt for the soft wheel option for the long trek to the shore with our sit on top kayak I was not disappointed. Quiet on the road and coped brilliantly with hard and soft sand. At the end of the week a quick wash in soapy water and stored for next outing.”

“Had a C-Tug Sandtrakz Canoe &Kayak Trolley about 5yrs ago i use it a lot, at first i thought they were a bit exspensive but must confess they are worth every penny. Made very well, durable, strong,easy to fold up and take with you if you want. Eh good old saying you get what you pay for!! Just purchased another one for wife. Brilliant bit of kit.”

“Greatly simplified canoe movement on land even boggy or sandy substrates. Assembled and disassembled in seconds. Easily stowable either assembled (canoe), or in 4 bits (kayak hatch). Light but strong. Water for lubrication stops wheels from squeaking. No worries!”

“I brought the C-Tug with SandTrakz wheels for transporting kayaks across soft sand. I have already owned the previous version with Kiwi wheels. The new Sandtrakz wheels are much better on soft sand than any other wheels I have used and deals with large pebbles and tourist sand constructions well. It also lacks the noisy rumble that the Kiwi wheels had on tarmac. The strap has been upgraded and is easier to use. A pricey trolley but value for money in the long run. Don't do what I did and buy cheap first. C-Tugs are versatile, solidly built and easy to break down and stow onboard.”
