The difference between using standard pneumatic wheels and this Sandtrakz wheel is astonishing...from struggling to an easy pull. Worth every penny. Equally smooth over gravel, hard pack or tarmac. “Purchased this based on others experience of this trolley. It's as good as people say, really well made, sturdy and really does work over sand. Fully loaded with gear, my kayak weighs 40kg, even with this weight it still works through sand and gravel. It's a lot to pay out, but definitely worth it.”

“a great product easy to use, very stable and the sand wheels work well over all sorts of ground. the only criticism is the method for the wheels to be secured, as unless you are very deliberate about making sure the clip on the axle is fully pushed down and in place, the wheel can fall off mid tow. this is a very minor gripe, and after a couple of times of this happening you soon learn to check and check again :) it would be good if the clip was weighted more at the bottom, as to make it self dropping and locking. i would recommend this product for anybody that is looking for an easy trolley option which fits easily in a front or back hatch.”

“The C-Tug Sandtrakz does exactly what it says on the tin! None of the specifications are false or even exaggerated. It comes apart into 6 elements which fit conveniently in kayak hatch(es). I myself own an old-style ocean kayak with small openings and the parts are easy to distribute between the hatches. Build quality is fantastic - the materials used feel robust. In all its ruggedness, the construction is actually really simple and it's that simplicity that makes it fail-proof. Should the user damage any parts - spares are easily available. The Sandtrakz wheels glide well on asphalt, shingles and sand. Overall, very happy with the purchase.”
