“IMO better than the iqos, but I wish they did more of non menthol ice flavours, I don't like menthol or ice flavours, need to concentrate on coffee, french toast sort of flavours that compliment tobacco well.”
“Compared to IQOS there is more smoke emitted from this device. Other than that it's a good device with a nice smoking result, tastes good and a satisfying smoke. Cheaper than the IQOS to buy and the EVO sticks are cheaper too. A good product.”
“For over 25 years I've been a heavy smoker, 20+ a day. Got to the point it was way too costly, and of course there were the health issues as well. I'd tried the Iqos before and couldn't take to it, although my husband had switched. For £19 I thought I had nothing to lose with the Ploom starter kit but didn't expect much. Except that since getting it 2 weeks ago I've smoked about 3 cigarettes a day, more from habit really, and I'm suddenly not enjoying the taste that much. I literally can't believe it. My husband's also switched now as he much prefers the Ploom taste, plus you can take as many puffs as you want within the timescale. We find the Gold sticks give the most realistic cigarette taste and although sometimes it takes 2 sticks, it does satisfy the nicotine craving. Already I'm feeling better, physically and financially. It's early days but this is the most I've ever cut down and the longest time too. I'm hoping that at some point I'll stop bothering with cigarettes completely. The device is very hot when it first starts but only for a couple of seconds. My mentality has been I'll allow myself a cigarette when I really want one, rather than strict abstinence, as that doesn't work for me. From 20+ a day to 3-4 a day max, I think it's working well so far. I hinestly can't recommend this enough, I'm amazed.”
“I have been using Ploom for a few years now and found the experience to be, let's say, variable. Each technological upgrade has improved the experience and now we have the Ploom X Advanced. This now feels even more like smoking a normal cigarette as the heat level lasts all the way to the end of the smoke. You get three packets of Evo Sticks as part of the Starter Kit, and I chose Bronze which is my go to flavour. Between the flavour of the Bronze Evo Sticks and the new Ploom X, it is a very satisfying smoke and I don't feel the need to smoke as many because some of them don't 'hit' right. I would recommend.”
