“The ploom x is a great device for traditional tobacco smokers as it feels and tastes more like traditional smoking and for the refills are alot cheaper than traditional tobacco or cigarettes although they contaim tobacco theres alot less in each evo stick but still seem to provide enough nicotine. Over all a great device and alot cheaper than the other Heat not Burn device on sale in the UK. Ive never used the other so cant comment on what its like in comparison but can comment on what its like compared to the Glo Hyper X2 which id say is slightly better as provides 2 heat settings apart from that its a worthy competitor. If anyone does have a Glo Hyper X2 Ive discovered that Evo Sticks do fit although a little tight compared to the fit in the ploom x which they are made for.”
“Unfortunately I can’t get on with it . Didn’t like the smell or the taste and it made me cough excessively and made my chest tight . But I’ve also tried vaping which did exactly the same thing. Don’t know why.”

“So I had both IQOS (I used ILUMA one with new Terea sticks) and Ploom X, and at the end of the day, I decided to stick with Ploom. Here are the reasons:
1) Ploom is not as dry as IQOS; when I smoke IQOS, I have this extremely dry feeling in my throat, and it's not as good as Ploom.
2) Stick tastes - in my opinion, Ploom X has a better range of tastes than IQOS does; most of the Ploom sticks I enjoy much more.
3) Overall effect is better for me than IQOS; with IQOS, I have this feeling of smoking "air" without the actual effects of cigarettes; with Ploom, it is different. I have almost the same "buzz" feeling as from cigarettes. For me, Ploom is something between IQOS and actual cigarette smoking; I'm not sure if it is as "healthier" as IQOS, but from the smoking experience, it is better.
4) Overall usability. Even though the initial impression of packaging and overall build quality is better in IQOS, after a while of using Ploom, on the other hand, it is simpler, more straightforward and more convenient for me. I have a feeling that Ploom spent more money on the device itself than on marketing and packaging.
5) Ploom sticks are slightly cheaper than IQOS. Usually, Terea sticks are around 6£ per pack while Evo for Ploom is 4.5£.
So considering all the above, for me, Ploom is better. But as usual, this is my opinion, and your mileage may vary. I decided to write a little opinion because when I was choosing between them, it was challenging to find some decent comprising between those products. It will be more helpful for someone.”
