“We arrived at the Mid Stay car park at our allotted time of 06.30 on the 27th February 2024. The barrier was up so we entered the area but there was no ticket In the machine. We parked our car and proceeded to the airport.
Upon our return we proceeded to the barrier but the sensors did not recognise the car and we had to call for assistance. We gave our car registration,name and flight details and eventually the barrier opened,”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

“Busy carpark and spaces a bit tight for bigger cars. But very close to terminal. Prebooked and collected ticket at barrier, parked and then very short walk to terminal.”
