“We have used Plane Parking at Edinburgh Airport many times as we find it convenient and value for money. On our latest trip we didn’t have to wait long for the courtesy bus to take us from the car park to the terminal building, and it was just turning up at the stop when we returned a week later at 3:30am.
However, the parking zones could do with being designated into smaller areas (eg A1-A5, B1-B5 etc, rather than just A, B etc), making it easier to locate the car on our return.
Please get rid of the stone hard standing, it gets dragged onto the road and then gets caught under case wheels, making progress very difficult. Also, can you add designated walkways between the cars to aid getting to specific rows. That will stop people squeezing past cars to avoid a 200 yard walk to get from one row to another via the roadway. It looks like you have removed one or two access sections to create more parking spaces.
As the car park has been enlarged you need to add a couple more strategically positioned bus stops.”
“Well sign posted, and therefore easy to find. Buses are regular, so there isn't long to wait if you just miss one. Price comoared to other options is good. I have used this parking before, and am using it again in a month. Would definitely recommend.”
“Price is very competitive. The issue is the buses. Main part of the day, just one bus running. You wait ages, then when it arrives it stops, collects those passengers that have already waited ages and.....then waits for ages for non existant passengers. Then it drops you at stop 1. And waits.....for more non existant passengers. And so on. There must be a better way than this. They are electric buses. How's about just make them go round without all the waiting? You pay for what you get it seems? But surely it can be better?”
