“First time using Edinburgh airport car parking and I cannot praise the staff there highly enough. On our outbound journey we had some difficulty finding the correct entrance to the car park as it was 3am, dark and first time there. The staff were friendly and helpful and guided us to the correct entrance. On our return journey we had mislaid our keys but again the staff were friendly and helpful and made a potentially stressful situation a lot easier to manage. I would highly recommend the carparking at Edinburgh Airport and would definitely use again. Many thanks again to all the staff who helped us.”
“It was a little confusing as to what the process would be at the airport It would be nice to have received clear instructions regarding what happens when you get to the car park (take the ticket from the machine as normal and then use it to exit). This is quite straightforward but not at all obvious, I assumed with prebooking I would need to present something to enter - it just meant uncertainty and dithering when we got there and then having to go and double-check at the desk that we didn't need to do anything else. This could be avoided by just explaining that's what you need to do on the booking confirmation.
I had made a stupid mistake in our booking which meant exiting wasn't straightforward as they didn't have our reg plate logged, but there was help available so we were able to exit within a couple of minutes of speaking via the intercom at the exit gate, which was great.
The parking was convenient and overall a good experience and I'd use this option again, certainly if arriving on a late flight as we did on this occasion. Knowing that that car was in a secure place for the week and easy to get to when landing late at night in the cold, was definitely worth paying extra.”
