Number plate recognition took ages to work getting in. On exit barrier would not accept ticket had to buzz through to get out. Technology is great when it works. Handy for the terminal though.

I am a regular user of Edinburgh Airport car parks and I can honestly say that my experience on my return from a short trip on Monday 23rd at 1:30am was the most angry and disappointing experience. I stupidly paid in advance for I mid stay but found out on exiting the car park, I parked in the wrong car park. It was only at exiting where I was asked for. £118. I called service who told me that due to my error I had to pay £40 extra to exit. Not what I was wanting after travelling most of the evening from Tenerife. I then asked to speak to a manager, I was rudely passed to Lawrence who refused to provide his full name. This was not the service I was expecting and point blank refused to let me leave, he told me “ put on your hazzards until you pay the additional £40..” now my partner and I were personally attacked verbally by addressing the comments we had just heard. Therefore, to get home I reluctantly paid the additional £40 to get out of there. My partner was also so disgusted with the comments and service from an admitted error which is the grand scheme of things was the first time in many occasions where I have spent a lot of money parking for business and pleasure, that both of us want to this situation fully addressed and a refund provided of the £40 extra payment. Not only that I would like Lawrence to apologise for his tone, anger in writing. I look forward to hearing from you as I will take this further if I don’t receive a response to the actions you are going to take in the next 7 days. Daniel Torbett

I use Edinburgh Airport Parking each time I fly from Edinburgh as it is a great service. However the last time I made an error in my booking (I didn't realise this until I was leaving) and was charged a parking charge. Now I appreciate this was MY error (I sometimes get mixed up with things-linked to a yet undiagnosed medical condition). I put in the correct time for my return but obviously (on reflection) I should have put in the next days date as it was after midnight, therefore into the next days date. Whilst I completely except this was my error. I think the charge was a tad excessive as it cost the same as what I paid for 4 days parking. I would have happily paid a small charge and an extra days parking to cover the extra day i used. I would have hoped an exception could have been made for an oversight. However I appreciate this is probably a standard charge and that I may have caused an inconvenience. So for that I can only apologise. In summary, I would still use and recommend Edinburgh Airport Parking in the future. Thank you.
