“I've used Edinburgh long stay a few times now, and whilst it's a long walk to the terminal, it has been improved as a surface, and the signage seems better than before. I had a bit of hassle on leaving - I recollected that previously that number plate recognition was in use, so was surprised that the barrier didn't rise automatically. I put in what I believe was the correct ticket, but wasn't able to exit. I tried one of the other gates with no success. As it was late and dark, it was a little difficult to find the intercom button (not illuminated). I explained the situation but the person on duty couldn't find the information with my details. I had a short wait, until he returned and opened the barrier. Just a glitch, I presume, but a slightly annoying delay, and I was a little confused as to what the correct procedure is now.”
“1. No address of carpark on booking information.
2. Barrier didnt open when we arrived until we took a tkt, we placed on windscreen. Still unsure if we were in correct carpark. Noone on site to ask, phoned disability assistance who confirmed we were in correct carpark.
3. No bus running
4. On leaving carpark, again barrier not recognizing our car we put in tkt, only to be asked for £180. We had to buzz for help who asked our car reg, no apology & just opened barrier. Not a great experience!!”
