“Long Stay Parking is in a perfect spot, just a short walk to the Terminal building. However, when we arrived, thankfully early, the car park was virtually full. Lots of cars were abandoned on corners and on the roadways, not marked parking spaces. It was a shambles. We toured around, as did many other vehicles, until we resorted to parking on a corner in a spot which would not impede vehicles from passing. We then headed towards the Terminal and spotted a proper car parking space. I ran back to the car and quickly moved it into the space - success! Having paid for a week’s parking we did not expect to find the car park so full and can imagine many people would be completely stressed when they were unable to find a space. There were more empty spaces on our return so perhaps we were unlucky to enter the Long Stay Parking when it was unusually busy. People using Long Stay must keep in mind that it could be difficult to find a space and for that reason arrive early to tour around in the hope of finding a space.”
