“This sunscreen is excellent on my poor acne rosacea skin. Does not give you spots or a white cast and also does not cause any rosacea flare ups. I have been using this for over a year now, come rain or shine. I can tell if I have forgotten to use on a sunny day as rosacea flares up so definitely doing it’s job! Cannot rate this product enough!”
“As I have been previously very SPF-shy for a myriad of reasons including forgetfulness this SPF is a treat because it feels so glossy and light, you can feel that it won't clog your skin up or stay slicked on top of your skin in the heat. Its a revelation and although I am not yet committed enough to use in through the winter too as I know I should.. it a summer essential of mine going forward. I recommend it to ANYONE who will listen, as that's how I found out about the whole Dr Sams range and I am deeply indebted!”

I have to confess I only use 2 of the 3 pumps recommended because I feel that in this way my face is already fully covered but I will certainly increase to 3 pumps in the summer.
I have a light/warm complexion and when I applied the spf for the first time I had the feeling that it was leaving that annoying white layer. Nothing more wrong. After I rubbed it for a few seconds, the white colour disappeared and my skin was left dewy and ready for the make up.
It has a balmy consistency and no fragrance.
It took a while to arrive to Italy (I think because of all the Coronavirus difficulties),but I am completely satisfied!”

I've never worn makeup and my skincare goals are to reduce my pigmentation and just be comfortable with any acne that crops up- and this is a skin saviour.

“The sunscreen is pretty heavy on the face and makes it a little tacky. No complaints regarding the great ingredients and the effective protection. I'm looking forward to try out the "Gossamer" one which sounded a little more lightweight from what I've read so far but unfortunately it is constantly out of stock. “There is no doubt that this sunscreen is effective but it is very thick and takes ages to sink in. I would prefer it to have the same texture as the moisturiser as I love that and it sits on my skin beautifully. I have rather fair skin and even I get a white cast from it so I would hate to think how bad the white cast must be for people who are more tanned than me. I think i'm going to try Sam's other sunscreen and see if that works better for me.”
“This spf I did not get on with at all.
Firstly it makes me look blue and leaves a white cast. I normally do not wear makeup but would have to wear with this to look human. Everytime I have used it friends have asked if I'm feeling ok.. Not the look I am going for! Given its thickness I imagine highly effective as an spf but does not fit in with my day to day life. Also I have to wait 10 minutes after my moisturiser otherwise it peels. I often dont have time to wait 10 minutes. So for those reasons I would not recommend.”
