“I appreciate that they tell you how much to use for your face and neck but it just felt like it was way too much. It was incredibly difficult to rub all of it in and left an awful white shiny cast. It then all melted into my eyes as it was just sitting on my skin. I definitely won’t purchase again.”
“I’ve been trying to find a spf for some time that doesn’t make me oily or leaves my face with white marks. This one is excellent and finally I don’t mind putting spf on daily! Feels glossy rather than cloying to put on and smooths in to feel light and weightless on the skin. I loathe creams that feel like they’re sitting on the surface of your skin after you’ve spent time cleansing, but this sinks right in and you genuinely can’t tell it’s there. Bliss!”
“Literally the first sunscreen I have ever used that doesn’t clog my skin and cause spots! Really love this and I don’t want to use any other sunscreen now. I feel confident in that it’s really protecting my skin too! Gutted I didn’t come across this years ago as it would of saved my skin so many breakouts and sun Damage! Highly recommend this! “It's a nice sunscreen. It doesn't leave a white cast once you rub it in enough plus it's nice and thick but not greasy. My only problem with it is that it made me break out as it has niacinamide in it which my skin reacts badly to. I didn't realize it had this ingrediant before purchasing. Unfortunately due to that I've had to stop using it which is a shame. If you don't have problems with this particular ingrediant I think this would be the perfect sunscreen.”
“I absolutely love the moisturiser from Dr Sam and was really excited to try this SPF seeing the great skin care ingredients it also contains. But no matter what technique I use to try applying it (applying it all in one go, or trying to apply it in multiple layers with time in between for the each layer to set, or even using less than suggested...) I end up looking as white as a sheet - for some reason it's the worst white cast from spf 50 I've ever used! Still giving this product 2 stars for the great skincare ingredients and its lovely texture. Considering giving the gossamer tinted a try instead when the darker shade is restocked.”
“I bought this hoping for a tolerable suncream that i could use everyday at the recommended dosage. However, at the correct dosage on my pale skin it is very white cast and unbearably greasy without drying over time. I always have to wash it off my hands after applying to face so i can still use my hands without getting grease everywhere. I have come to use it when it is a sunny day only with only 2 pumps which i know is inadequate but at least it now sinks in better and doesn't leave a cast or let my hair stick to my face. It's hard to find cruelty free and vegan suncream that isnt bad for the skin so i may well purchase this again.”
