“I’ve been looking for a daily sunscreen for my acne prone skin + pretty dry. This is the perfect product! Finally, I have no problem to use sunscreen every day. Thanks Dr.Sam!”
“I don’t like this sunscreen. I had high hopes and I tried to make it work for me, but unfortunately it isn’t. I have brown skin, and I knew there would be some cast, but it’s the combination of cast + greasiness + patchiness that stops it from working for me.
Pros:
- I like knowing exactly how much I need to be fully protected
- good sun protection so if you don’t care what you like it - it works fine.
Cons:
- Greasy
- uneven patchy white cast on dark skin if using the recommended amount
- difficult for me to apply makeup over it as the sunscreen layer is so patchy
- drying on my skin.
- gave me some acne
I love Dr Sams other products but not too happy with this one and won’t be repurchasing.”
“The best sunscreen I have tried and the only one I have tried that doesn't break me out. It leaves a really nice finish on the skin, perfect for applying makeup on top. No white cast at all! The only thing I would say is it's not perfect for sport - it makes me sweat much more than when wearing other sunscreens - so I have to use another sunscreen when exercising (the Avene cleanance one). But overall love it and so glad I found this sunscreen!”
“It is non-irritating, mattifying, doesn't break me out and would be perfect for my Rosacea-prone, super sensitive and oily skin, except for the whitecast. It also, thanks to oily cheeks and nose, doesn’t stick to those areas of skin for long. However I prefer this to the one from EltaMD, which is similar but has a plastic smell and feels stickier (more irritation when washing it off). A slight tint on this sunscreen would be much appreciated, otherwise great.”
“There is nothing more important than skin protection for me now, and the daily sunscreen has been my most used sun cream in the last few weeks of the heat wave. It dissolves easily and quickly and is very light on my skin. perfect to use under makeup as well!”
