Flawless Daily Sunscreen SPF 50 50ml Reviews

A good block but as I am of the generation that sunbathed our faces I find I have to always wear a good covering make up to hide the freckles and pigmentation! Consequently, with the extra sunblock I have a very thick finish.

Coverage looks great, not too shiny/dewy. I get break outs easily and have not broken out at all. I also use the tinted Gossamer. I like them equally.

While I prefer mineral tinted SPF for my face, it's a very nice SPF that I use on my neck and hands. I love the hydration it gives while many other zinc based SPFs dry skin out.

I really wanted to love this but it just doesn’t work for me, even a third of the recommended dose doesn’t sink into my skin, in the summer if my face got a bit sweaty it would literally leak out of my skin, tried saving it for the colder months, same problems of it rains, face goes all creamy and white. I’ve got combination skin so thought I’d be ok with it but really not for me.

Love the texture of this cream isn’t greasy - drys quickly and doesn’t give me breakouts

Finally found the sunscreen I was looking for! No white cast, gives a beautiful glow to the skin but not too shiny/sweaty looking. No nasty chemicals or perfume. I totally recommend it.

Overall this is a lovely sunscreen but I found it quite occlusive so mainly use it over the winter months.

So I have a thing about finding ‘The One’. I have tried a few SPF’s including Gossamer and other mineral only creams. They don’t work for me. I find it too hard to blend and I can see ‘residue’ sitting on my skin. So I thought I’d try Dr Sam’s a daily as it’s a hybrid SPF. It feels really silky and is rich and nourishing, yet, I still have trouble with a bit of pilling around my hairline and sometimes around my eyes. I just find that I’m taking too long rubbing it in and dealing with some pilling in places. I don’t know why. Plus, I use 3 pumps at first to cover face and neck, and just that amount alone takes a while to work in. Then I’ll go back a while after and do 3 more pumps. It just feels like it’s quite a lot effort. I can’t help but keep going back to my La Roche Anthelios fluid. It’s so easy and trustworthy. I put the whole 2.5 mls (same as the 6 pumps and generic amount as highlighted by Dr Sam for accurate SPF protection) on my face and neck at once and it’s not long before I’ve blended it all in and it’s like silk across my face. No residue or pilling. It’s so quick, easy and reliable. I love Nightly and Brightly and tell everyone who will listen to me to get them. But with the SPF’s, they’re just not quite working for me.
