“I am very fair skinned and although I have always been careful in the sun I had a BCC removed from my forehead last year. I was told I had to wear factor 50 sunscreen every day and not just in the sun. I have tried many sunscreens on my face but they either left a greasy film or a white cast. I'm loving Dr Sam's factor 50 sunscreen and both myself and my husband use it every day. It's the only one that doesn't sting my eyes. I have actually purchased all of Dr. Sam's products and loving them.”

“I was excited to order this sunscreen and was convinced by the description, promising it’s non-greasy and works well under make up. This sunscreen has a great texture (reminded of an Elta md product I tried before this one) but that’s where the positives end. I wanted to skip make up on weekdays this summer but this sunscreen is so greasy I had to use powder foundation on top. Which didn’t help as the greasiness still comes through. Same with liquid foundation. I’m using two pumps instead of three which isn’t ideal as I’m aware I’m not getting the protection I wanted and I have pale skin. I honestly really wanted to love this product but I can’t wait for the bottle to finish. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with combo/oily skin.”

I've always loved the SPF recommendations Dr. Sam gave us each year and I was really excited when she launched her own sunscreen because I was sure she had us in mind. And the result is just fantastic, this sunscreen does feel moisturising but it doesn't feel heavy or clog the pores, it's such an elegant formula that feels lightweight and is really effective. Definitely a favourite!”
“I love this product now I have grasped the technique! It has taken me a little while to get the hang of applying this sunscreen without causing slight pilling, but the secret for me seems to be stopping the smoothing process before it becomes too dry on the skin and having the patience to allow it to sink in. It does seem like a massive amount of cream to put on your face, and mine is very small (I am a very petite lady!) However, all is now good and it really helps my skin to remain hydrated during the day. I do find that my foundation works better when applied with a beauty blender on top of the sunscreen, and it leaves me with a wonderful, dewy glow until it is removed with the Flawless Cleanser at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this product and it will always remain in my skincare regime.”
