“This would be perfect if it was slightly lighter and a less greasy finish. I find unless I leave it 1 hour plus then makeup does not sit nicely on it as the finish is just too greasy and makeup just slides around on top. I have tried putting it directly over serum, i.e. no moisturiser, but my dry/dehydrated skin doesn't like it. Please make a lighter version!”
“I really enjoyed this product and purchased three times. I loved the consistency, the way it made my skin feel and how it acted as a perfect primer for makeup. My problem with it though, lies in the fact that a single bottle lasted about two and a half weeks. When following Dr Sam’s advice, to get full protection from the sunscreen, users should be applying three pumps (1.25 mls) to the face and a further three pumps to the neck. I’m no mathematical genius, but I’m pretty sure that equates to 2.5 mls per application; Therefore a 50ml bottle of flawless sunscreen will last for twenty days, just under three weeks, if used as directed. In my case in ran out after two and a half weeks. I loved the product so much that I persevered, but after going through three bottles in under two months, I begrudgingly decided I couldn’t keep it up. There is an auto delivery service available, but the most frequently the product can be delivered is every four weeks! I’m not sure if I’m being silly, but I am genuinely perplexed by this as it means there will always be a gap between the user finishing one bottle and another being delivered?? Great product, but I would only be able to use if it can in a larger and possibly more cost effective size. I am surprised that not more reviews have picked up on my ‘issue’. I can only think that some regular uses are using considerably less product than the recommended amount. Such a shame, because as per my opening comment, it’s a great product!!”
“As I mentioned in reviews re the moisturiser the pump bottle is great. However I used 3 pumps as recommended and also did the 13 dot technique. This is an awful lot of product, and it sat heavy for sometime and has left my skin a little itchy. I don't normally suffer from any irritation so will see how it goes. For the next application I will use two pumps, which is know reduces the spf value but as the UV index is low at this time of year and Im inside Im happy to try that.”
“The sunscreen feels nice and hydrating when first applied, and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. However, it takes a long time to sink into the skin (4 hours) to a point where it doesn't feel sticky if I touch my face. I also can't apply makeup over it, as it doesn't settle nicely and my makeup looks horrendous. I also found that the spf would gather up in any creases (like on my eyelid) and leave a white line in any facial creases I have. It does however feel very protective, and I will gladly use this spf whenever I'm going hiking in the Norwegian mountains and I feel like I need extra protection from the sun and the elements/harsh wind etc. I don't think I would buy this sunscreen again unless I suddenly take up hiking on a more regular basis. One thing I very much appreciate is how clear the instructions are when it comes to how much spf is needed, that is something we need more of on spf labels!”
“I’m so pleased with this Sunscreen, I’m on my second tube of it. Goes on easily over my moisturiser and doesn’t pil which sometimes happens when layering products. It does look quite white when first applying it, but after a few mins it totally sinks in. Make up also goes over the top excellently. Love that it’s got the niacinamide in it.
Oh! And importantly, I wear contact lenses. I always sweep the last amount of residue of the product over my eyelids, in the past, the previous sunscreens I used would sort of adhere to my lenses, not this stuff. Customer for life.”
