“I wanted to love this product; the ingredients are first-rate. But I think it was created for younger women with oilier skin and possibly blemishes. I'm sure it's phenomenal for them. Not so much for a post-menopausal woman who lives in the desert. I have using 0.1 % tretinoin every night for several years, so I thought I would have no problem with this serum, but I was wrong. Even using a tiny amount every other night, I found it intensely dehydrating and my skin looked much worse. I would urge caution if you have mature, thin, already-dry skin. Love the other products, though!”
“This is my first "active" skincare product and I felt confident enough to try it as it is Dr Sam that formulated it, I've wanted to try some kind of retinol for a while but just couldn't choose so I was so pleased when this serum was launched, I'm 48 with normal age related concerns, pigmentation and lack of brightness,,the first few days of use I noticed a very slight change in my skin, hardly anything really, then after week 3 I noticed my skin was smoother looking and now on week 5 I have really started to see noticeable changes in brightness and slightly lightened pigmentation, clearer,softer, healthier looking skin, I'm confident enough to go out without any makeup and it is a pleasure to use, I'm still using the first bottle and it is week 5, just ordered my 2nd,, love it !”
