“Another AMAZING product from Dr Sam. Let me start by saying I have suffered from Rosacea (Papulopustular as well as intense flushing) for the last 2-3 years and use a daily prescription cream from my doctor which has helped immensely. I only use Dr Sams basics as my skin is obviously very sensitive however I have always wanted to try this serum but have been hesitant as always reacted terribly to any retinol/retinoid product. Well this serum is truly amazing. I took it slowly and applied a half pump every other day over a freshly moisturized face and am now working toward a half pump on freshly washed skin before moisturizer and then over a longer period of time increase to a full pump. “I purchased nightly serum because of the lock down, thinking that if my face reacted to it’s ingredients I don’t have to be seen in public.
I have been a happy user of La Roche-Posay and Neostrata with retinol. Both good but I wanted to try dr Sam’s because I use her moisturiser, spf , face wash and the lip balm and they are perfect for my skin type, a little dry and sensitive, specially around the eyes. I have been using nightly serum for a week every night and I really enjoy it using it. It hasn’t irritated my skin or cause any dryness. I follow her instructions on how to apply it, eye goggles and lip balm before the serum. I also rub the bit that is left on my finger from the lip balm around my nose. My skin looks really well and I can see that my small dark pigmentation on my cheek is fading. I do look after my skin and always had.
