“Love this gossamer sunscreen. BUT had to buy the lighter tint as the darker number 2 was sold out. Have to say number 1 tint didn't add much noticeable colour or evenness when applied to my face. Added a bit of foundation to do the job...but next time I will try the darker colour option if it is available.”

“After reading mixed reviews regarding this sunscreen, I decided to give it a try because I have liked other Dr. Sam’s products. As it turns out the reviews regarding the faulty pump are true. I received my order in the mail yesterday and I can barely get any sunscreen out of the bottle. Also, the sunscreen does not absorb into the skin! It sits on top. I can literally run my nail across my cheek and see the sunscreen come off (several hours after application). This means that any makeup you put on top of it does not stick either. If you are a purchasing from the US, they do not except returns or exchanges. So needless to say I am out $40 for a product that I will not use. I am very disappointed with Dr. Sam’s for not addressing the packaging issues, as well as their return policies. I think I will take my business to a company that listens to their consumers.

Sorry to hear that you have not enjoyed your experience with Flawless Gossamer! Flawless Gossamer can be hydrating enough on its own so you might want to skip moisturiser. Please try to apply Flawless Gossamer in 3 pumps twice to create 2 thin layers and allow the product to absorb. Dr Sam's 13 Dot Technique really helps with this!
Please note that we are aware of the problematic mechanism in this bottle, and our team are currently working on an improved version with the manufacturer. Customer feedback is extremely important to us, and as soon as we were made aware of the issue, we began working on the solution. The new and improved version of the tube will be available very soon.
“At first I thought this would be a tinted moisturiser with some coverage. The product comes out tinted but becomes quite opaque when applied. At first i was disappointed as I expected more coverage but then I realised it’s a great summer/holiday sunscreen as at that time you don’t want to hide your skin so in other words it’s not a product that I would replace for a foundation when going to work etc but great for no make up days or holidays as it’s good protection with nice finish.”
