I really love this product - it leaves a really nice finish without looking cakey and knowing that it is protected my skin is great. I also find it doesn't dehydrate my skin and I don't need to use a moisturiser in the morning (just at night).

May be an effective SPF but not a good product to use. Firstly, the pump design/packaging is terrible, it gets stuck regularly and difficult to use. Secondly it’s way too thick which makes applying it to skin tough, I had to start mixing it with a moisturizer to apply it. Lastly is the white cast which is not a fault of this specific product as it’s common with most mineral based sunscreens. Wouldn’t be so bad if the the rest was good.

This was my first time to try this sunscreen and it did not disappoint. It does not break me out and does not leave a white cast. It leaves a 'dewy' finish but it not extremely shiny and it does not cause my make up to slip around or split. I will buy it again.

I absolutely love this product, it’s so hydrating that I can skip moisturiser (great on a busy morning). It also provides good coverage and doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin.

I purchased Tint #1 and LOVE it. I love the thick consistency and the tint helps hide my rosacea redness.

The sunscreen is decent. A bit too thick for my liking but I did repurchase a few times regardless. The biggest flaw however is the packaging - in every instance I repurchased this the pump stopped working altogether with plenty of product still left inside. Stopped repurchasing for that reason (at first thought maybe I was just unlucky but later realised it was the issue every time).

I live in northern New Mexico and struggle with the impact of sun exposure--I feel like my skin is aging 3X as fast as it was when I lived at sea level. The climate is really dry on my already dry/combination skin that becomes drier with nightly retinol. So, I have hunted for the right mineral sunscreen that is tinted, moisturizing, and does not cause acne. Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral SPF 30 broke me out. MDSolarSciences Mineral Creme Tinted SPF 50 made me too shiny and a touch too orange, and my dry patches seemed more obvious when I used it. I have liked EltaMD UV Restore Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 okay, but it pills on top of my Brightly, NIOD Peptides, and Obagi moisturizer. CLINIQUE Pep-Start Daily UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is one of my favorites, but it is pretty sheer and I have to have very clear skin in order to wear it without make up. ColorScience Face Sheild Flex SPF 50 isn't bad, but it is pretty heavy--like foundation. Since I love the Brightly and Nightly, I decided to give the Flawless Gossamer Tint 01 SPF 50 a try. Wow. It is smooth and velvety. The 01 tint doesn't have any orange in it and really brightens up my porcelain/medium skin tone. It has very moisturizing ingredients, but it didn't feel too heavy. Applying it as the last step in my skincare routine 10-15 minutes before my make up did not make my products or undereye concealer pill. It provided some coverage, but I use a powder foundation on top. My skin looked pretty flawless. I checked in later in the day and I didn't have any dry or flakey patches and my concealer had not migrated. Feels like a real winner. I am now buying the untinted version to wear on my neck.

I love this factor 50 SPF - it’s the perfect amount of light coverage to even skin tone whilst maintaining sun care.
