“It’s light, easy to apply, my sensitive skin doesn’t reach to it, buuuut leaves a MASSIVE white cast. I’m fair-ish skin so I can’t imagine any other skin tone being able to use this.”
“Essentially , if you definitely do want to be using a physical/mineral only sunscreen formulation then this one probably ticks more of the boxes than most others, most importantly, it doesn't do my skin any harm and I trust this brand to genuinely work to that important principle.
The pros are it's an effective sunscreen (main objective, right?), it's a lot less clogging than other brands I've tried, it's free from unnecessary ingredients and fragrance, it's reasonably light and I haven't had problems with it leaving a white residue as many others do.
However, there really are still significant cons - but I think probably the technology just doesn't exist (yet?) for a mineral sunscreen not to come with at least some of these; there's no combination of moisturiser, make up, and this sunscreen that I can find that doesn't end up with pretty bad pilling, even if I play with the application timings. The product gets trapped in the eyebrows and hairline, which isn't a great look. I have sensitive combination skin, and it feels both too heavy on application, and then pretty drying overall with daily use - my skin copes with it rather than likes it. The pump will get blocked with air pockets and can be a pain to get the product out (usually when you're short on time!). Overall the price feels not cheap for something you don't love to use.
In spite of the cons, I am continuing to choose this product (along with others in the range which I genuinely do love) while I need a mineral sunscreen, as I think it's still a good one relative to others available!”
