“I had used the tinted version before and loved the consistency and ease of application. I have pale, sun sensitive skin and rosacea and had used the tinted version before and loved the consistency and ease of application as well as how it enhances my skin tone without needing a foundation on top. I bought the untinted to layer with the tinted version as I sometimes found the 6 pumps of tint too much on my skin.
At first I was unsure about the untinted version of the Flawless Gossamer as I experienced pilling on my skin. However after sometime I discovered that the pilling only happened when I used a certain serum or moisturiser. Now when I use a different product there is no pilling at all and it applies easily and flawlessly! I think I may even prefer it to the tinted version.”
“As a regular user of the sunscreen, I was really looking for the tinted gossamer but it was out of stock. I settled for the untainted this time and was delighted by the texture. And because it’s Dr Sam’s, I know it will do its job.
Only niggle is the pump on the tube which takes too long to get the product out.”
“I’m always skeptical that sunscreen for the face won’t be heavy and leave you feeling greasy. If applied per the directions, it does not leave your face as greasy as most I’ve tried. Most importantly it doesn’t feel heavy. Glad I tried it.”
“I was really hoping to like this but sadly it was a pasty consistency, left a white cast and kept pilling on application. Terrible to anyone with dark skin and not sure what to do with the rest other than bin it which is a real disappointment.
I even rewatched the how to apply it video to make sure I did this correctly. The formulation needs to be more elegant.”
“Pump does not work & leaves a white cast
Sadly the pump doesn’t work after a while, meaning you have to pump continuously to get a decent amount out.
The company are aware of this however not informed customers they are trying to fix it but it is still an issue now.
The product does leave a white cast no matter how much you rub it in so be mindful if you wear it everyday.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Please try squeezing the tube whilst expressing the pump at the same time, to eliminate any air. The pump should then work smoothly. We would recommend applying the sunscreen in 2 layers allowing some time for the 1st layer to absorb. This should help to avoid the white cast.
