“Unexpectedly smelly on opening, and I was initially put off using it because of the smell. I find the balm ok but any lip product mainly made up of lanolin will soften your lips. The balm isn’t good enough for me to ignore the smell and so I felt disappointed by flawless lip and will happily return to my Carins lip comfort oil. Don’t be put off by my review as I am very sensitive to smells and often products which have smells that I can’t tolerate are firm favourites of my friends and family, if you have dry lips give it a go - it will definitely soften and hydrate.”

This lip balm is amazing, yes it’s super thick however a little goes along way. I like a balm that you don’t need to keep applying and this is it! It has also transformed my 5 year old’s outdoor winter lips!”
“I was very excited to receive this because I suffer all year round from dry cracked bleeding lips! On opening, I was disappointed because it was very tricky to squeeze out of the tube. After contacting customer services they replied promptly advising me it has to be at room temperature which would make sense as the postman had left the parcel outside on my doorstep! Once it was at room temperature, it was perfect and I have now been using this for a few days and my lips are looking so much better. Yes the smell isn’t the best & as another review says it also reminds me of Elizabeth Arden 8 hr, however I can deal with that because within a few days it has sorted out my dry cracked lips & I actually quite like the glossy look! I will most definitely be ordering again in the future.”
“This lip-balm was initially really hard to squeeze out of the tube! After warming it up in my hand it became easier but on dry lips it is still quite hard to apply. It doesn’t spread as easily as other lip-balms do, maybe this is just something I need to get used to!
I feel the effort you need to put in to apply the lip-balm isn’t compensated for in the result either. Sadly I don’t feel like it does much for my lips and it fades away quickly.
Love all of the other products by Dr Sam but this is a miss for me!”
