“I decided to treat myself to all of the Flawless range including the lip Salve. I now only use this on my lips both at night and during the day. It is very moisturising and seems to stay put. Initially, as other reviewers have said, it was hard to get out of tube but after the first use, it hasn't since been a problem. I intend to purchase another one to keep in my handbag too. Highly recommend!”
“As a disclaimer, I have to start by stating that I was not aware of the fact that I am apparently allergic to lanolin. I only realised this upon using this lip balm for the first time. I applied it at night and woke up with an allergic reaction. It is not the fault of the lip balm though. I should have done a patch test. Therefore, I advise giving it a try on a small area to test if it gave an adverse reaction. That is the reason for the 3 stars. The good news is, however, that I gave it to my mom who loves this products, and had no issues with it at all. In fact, she said it helped her great with cracked lips. Yes, the texture is thick but if you warm it up a bit as instructed it can be applied with ease. Yes, it has an odour, however, it is just a natural smell.”
“...it’s almost impossible to get product out the tube! I tried to warm it and still it took some amount of hard squeezing to get a tiny bit out - and that’s a new full tube - I doubt that as the tube empties - I will be able to get any out. The packaging needs to be redesigned. As it’s so thick maybe it should be in a tin or pot so your finger can swirl over the product and you can actually apply it - shame as I love all of Dr Sams other products”
“This product is nice but I personally don’t like using my finger to put lip glass on. I find it hard to get out of the tube in this chilly weather. I like it once I get it on my lips though.”
“Great product - nice sheen and moisturising of the lips, however the packaging is a problem. I couldn’t get it out of the tube to start with and had to seek assistance. It’s still tricky and I imagine when the product runs low it will be even more difficult. If the packaging is reconsidered I would purchase again.”
